'Jennie's Will' performed by the Cornell Savoyards
In celebration of Cornell University's sesquicentennial, the Cornell Savoyards brought the life of Jennie McGraw, donor of the original Cornell Chimes, to the stage Feb. 7-8, 2015 in "Jennie's Will: A Musical History in Two Acts." Composed by Mark Simon DMA '85, book and lyrics, by Pamela Monk, the operetta tells of the courtship and brief marriage between McGraw and Cornell's first librarian, Willard Fiske.
